Appeal for information following incident in Lynedoch Street, Greenock
Officers are appealing for information following an incident in Greenock.
Around 10.10pm on Friday, 27 September 2024, police were called to a report of a 66-year-old man found injured on Lynedoch Street.
Emergency services attended and he was taken to hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
The roadway at Lynedoch Street is currently closed while enquiries are carried out.
Detective Sergeant Jamie McAteer said: “We are carrying out enquiries to establish the circumstances of this incident and anyone who was in the area around this time is asked to contact police.
“We would also ask motorists to check their dash-cam footage as well as anyone with CCTV, which may have captured anything from around this time, to get in touch.”
