Appeal following wilful fire raising in Aberdeen
Officers are appealing following a fire in Richmond Street in Aberdeen on Saturday, 31 August, 2024, reported to police around 5.40pm.
Emergency services attended and one woman was treated at the scene by the Scottish Ambulance Service.
The building was evacuated and the fire was put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.
Detective Constable Abbie Harris said: “The fire is being treated as wilful and a joint investigation with the fire service is being carried out.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and anyone who saw anything suspicious is asked to get in touch.
We are also asking the public to check private CCTV and dash-cam if they were driving in the area and make contact if there is anything that could assist with our investigation.”
