Appeal following serious crash on Duntreath Avenue, Glasgow
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on Duntreath Avenue in Glasgow.
The incident happened around 2pm on Friday, 13 September, and involved a pedestrian and a silver Ford Kuga, just south of where the road crosses Great Western Road.
Emergency services attended and the pedestrian, a 42-year-old woman, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment. Medical staff describe her injuries as life-threatening.
The driver of the car was not injured.
Sergeant Andrew Coutts said: “We believe there were a number of people around at the time of the crash and we are asking anyone in the area at the time who can assist with our investigation to get in touch.
“We are also asking people to check their private CCTV and dash-cam footage and contact us if they have anything that could help with our enquiries.”
