Appeal following serious assault on Aberdeen's Great Northern Road

Police in Aberdeen are appealing for information following the serious assault of a 48-year-old man near Farmfoods on Great Northern Road.

The incident took place between 2.50pm and 3.30pm on Saturday, 24 August, and was subsequently reported to police that evening.

The man was treated at Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for his injuries.

Constable Patrick Perkowsky said: “Extensive enquiries have been carried out into this incident and we have a number of lines of enquiry. We would ask anyone with any information to contact police on 101, quoting incident 3196 of 24 August, 2024.

“Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
