Appeal following fatal crash on Hawkhead Road, Paisley
A man has died following a serious crash in Paisley.
The incident happened around 8.10am on Wednesday, 18 September 2024, where two men were struck by a car on Hawkhead Road, Paisley.
Emergency services attended and the two men, aged 50 and 40, were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the car was uninjured.
The 50-year-old man died in hospital on Sunday, 22 September 2024.
The road was closed for around eight for enquiries to be carried out.
Road Policing officers are continuing to appeal for information and are asking the public for assistance.
Sergeant Scott Gourlay said: “At this time, our thoughts are with the family of the deceased, along with everyone else affected by this incident.
“Our investigation into the circumstances remain ongoing and we ask anyone who has any information, including dash-cam footage at the time of the incident, to contact police.”
