Appeal following assault in the Maxwell Drive area of East Kilbride

Officers are appealing for information following an assault in East Kilbride.

The incident happened on Maxwell Drive around 1.10am on Sunday, 8 September, 2024.

A 34-year-old man was taken to Hairmyres Hospital for treatment.

Officers are keen to trace a man who was wearing a white t-shirt, black trousers and holding a black jacket in his hand.

Detective Sergeant Jim Williamson said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.

“I would also appeal to anyone who may have private CCTV or dash-cam footage which may assist us to get in touch.”
