Update - Further man arrested and charged in connection with death of John Taylor in Kilwinning
A 19-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of John Taylor in Kilwinning.
Mr Taylor, 44, was found with serious injuries on Pollock Crescent around 1.55pm on Friday, 18 October, 2024. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 19-year-old is due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Thursday, 31 October.
Two men, aged 26 and another 19-year-old, have previously been arrested and charged in connection with the death.
The 26-year-old appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 23 October and the 19-year-old on Monday, 28 October.
A 53-year-old man who was previously arrested, has been released pending further enquiries.
Detectives have set up a website that gives members of the public access to a form to send information directly to the Major Investigation Team, which can be submitted anonymously.
