Two men sentenced for County Lines drugs operation in Aberdeen
Two men have been jailed today for their involvement in a County Lines drug operation between Aberdeen and England.
Jahvid Frith, 28, was sentenced to three years and four months and Tyrone Sealey, 24, was sentenced to five years and three months at the High Court in Edinburgh on Wednesday, 30 October, 2024.
The pair were arrested in February 2023 after police recovered cocaine, heroin and cannabis with an estimated street value of around £10,000 at a flat in Marischal Court Aberdeen. Over £2000 in cash, multiple mobile phones and other items used to coordinate drug supply were also seized by officers.
Detective Sergeant Christopher Wilson said: “Drugs cause immense damage to our communities, and today’s sentencing underlines Police Scotland’s continuing commitment to the Serious organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
“This case sends a clear message that County Lines operations will not be tolerated, and we will pursue those who seek to profit from illegal activities.
“If you have any concerns about drugs in your area, please contact Police Scotland on 101 or make a call anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
