Robert Foulkes, 65, jailed for sexual offences in the Aberdeenshire area
A man has been jailed for 15 years for sexual offences in the Aberdeenshire area.
Robert Foulkes, 65, was convicted of the offences against females between 2003 and 2016 at the High Court in Edinburgh on Friday, 13 September, 2024.
He was sentenced at the High Court in Edinburgh on Tuesday, 22 October to 15 years in jail and placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Detective Inspector Bruce Buntain said: “Foulkes has admitted to a campaign of sexual violence over a significant period of time and it’s right he now faces the consequences of his despicable actions.
“I commend the strength of those involved in reporting his offending and throughout the court process. I hope the outcome will bring them justice as they continue to move forward with their lives.
“Police Scotland is committed to tackling sexual crimes and bringing those responsible in front of the courts. I’d urge anyone who has been a victim, regardless of when it happened, to come forward and report it. We will fully investigate and you will be supported throughout by our specially trained officers and partner agencies.”
