Renewed appeal after attempted murder in Greenock
Detectives in Greenock are renewing an appeal for information following an attempted murder at West Blackhall Street in the town.
The incident happened around 12.10am on Saturday, 28 September when officers were called to a report of a 21-year-old man with serious injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Inspector Nicky Beattie said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing and I would reassure the local community that extensive efforts are ongoing to identify whoever is responsible.
“I would urge anyone who may have information which has not yet been passed to police to get in touch as soon as you can.
