Proactive patrols in North Aberdeenshire
Throughout September and October, several focused initiatives targeting antisocial behaviour and violence were carried out in North Aberdeenshire.
As part of this ongoing proactive action, 17 people were arrested for outstanding warrants and 10 people were arrested in connection with domestic abuse offences.
Chief Inspector Steven McDonald, Area Commander said: “We remain committed to tackling antisocial behaviour, violence and disorder. We are aware of the adverse impact this behaviour has on our local communities.
“These initiatives demonstrate our commitment to local priorities and dealing with offenders robustly and swiftly.
“We are working with a range of partners to tackle this issue and are keen to continue to work with and listen to the local community.
“We urge anyone who witnesses antisocial behaviour or criminality to contact us so we can respond appropriately.
