Man convicted of the murder of Henry White
A 36-year-old man has been convicted of murdering a man in Oakley in March 2023.
Christopher Brown was found guilty at the High Court in Edinburgh on Friday, 25 October, 2024. He is due to be sentenced on Thursday, 21 November.
Officers were called to a property in the Erskine Wynd area of Oakley on Wednesday, 22 March, 2023 following a report of a disturbance.
Henry White, aged 57, was found with fatal injuries.
Following enquiries, Christopher Brown was arrested and charged the next day.
Detective Inspector Kieran Marsh said: “I hope today’s conviction will bring some comfort to Henry's family and friends who have shown great strength throughout this investigation. Our thoughts remain with them as they continue to come to terms with what happened to him.
“Brown will now face the consequences of his deplorable actions.
"Thankfully crimes like these are extremely rare in our communities. When such incidents take place, we will use all resources necessary to carry out thorough, rigorous inquiries to ensure we track down those responsible to bring them to justice as swiftly as possible.
