Man charged following fatal crash, Clarkston Toll
A man has been charged in connection with a fatal crash at Clarkston Toll.
The incident happened on Stamperland Crescent around 5.20pm Friday, 17 May, 2024.
It involved an 86-year-old pedestrian and a Mercedes GLE.
The pedestrian was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. He died in hospital on Thursday, 23 May. No one else was injured.
The man, aged 55, has been charged with causing death by careless driving and a report has been submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.
He is expected to appear in court in due course.
