Man arrested and charged in connection with £92,000 drug recovery in Glasgow
A 21-year-old man has been arrested and charged after £92,000 worth of drugs were recovered in Glasgow.
Officers executed a warrant at an address on Blantyre Street around 9.30am on Wednesday, 9 October, 2024.
Cocaine with an estimated street value of £74,000 and £18,000 worth of ketamine was recovered.
The man is due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, 10 October.
Detective Inspector Alan Ferguson, Greater Glasgow Proactive CID, said: “We are committed to tackling the supply and distribution of drugs in our communities.
“Officers regularly carry out warrants and enforcement operations to disrupt this type of activity.
“Information from the public is vital to allow us to do this. I’d urge anyone with information or concerns about drug related offences in their area to contact us and we will fully investigate.”
