Man arrested and charged after a car failed to stop on the A90, Aberdeenshire

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged after a car failed to stop for officers on the A90 Hatton to Ellon road in Aberdeenshire around 5.55pm on Tuesday, 15 October, 2024.

The driver of the white Saab 93, was followed and abandoned the vehicle in the Broadfold Road area in Bridge of Don and ran off.

He was found a short distance away.

He was due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 16 October, 2024.

Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information, including dash-cam, that could assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 2700 of Tuesday, 15 October, 2024.
