Appeal to trace a man who may have been assault in Dalmarnock, Glasgow
Officers are seeking the public’s assistance in trying to locate a man who they believe was assaulted in Dalmarnock.
Around 9.10am on Tuesday, 24 September, 2024, police received a call stating a man was being assaulted near a footpath on Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow. Officers attended but the attackers and the victim had left the location.
Officers have been conducting enquiries to locate the injured man, but they have yet to identify him. At the time of the attack, he was wearing a black top with a camouflage style design on the front, black jogging trousers, black and white trainers.
CCTV footage from that area has been reviewed and an injured man was seen to walk away from the area. Several people also witnessed the incident, but no-one knew the man or any of the attackers.
Detective Constable Jacqueline Harris said: “We are continuing to investigate this crime and I would urge the man who was assaulted to contact us. We need to ensure he does not require medical treatment and that he is safe and well. If anyone knows who the man is or has any information regarding this incident, please contact us.”
