Appeal for information following serious assault in Patna

Officers are appealing for information following a serious assault in Patna.

The incident happened around 2.20pm on Sunday, 13 October, 2024 in a wooded area between Dallowie Road and Dalvennan Avenue.

A 46-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Neil Stevenson said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.

“We also ask anyone who may have private CCTV or dashcam footage of the area at the time to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 1740 of 13 October, 2024. Alternatively, contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
