Appeal for information following serious assault in East Kilbride

Detectives are appealing for information following a serious assault in East Kilbride.

The incident happened between 1am and 1.15am on Saturday, 5 October, 2024 on Stuart Street.

A 35-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable Andrew Sinclair said: “Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this to contact us.

“We also ask anyone driving in the area at the time with dashcam footage to come forward.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 quoting incident 1525 of 6 October, 2024. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.
