Appeal following wilful fire-raising incident in Glasgow
Officers in Glasgow are appealing for information following an incident of wilful fire-raising in the Barlanark area.
The incident happened around 5am on Sunday, 6 October, 2024, in Garvel Crecent, where a car, a black Mercedes A Class, was deliberately set on fire.
Detective Constable Gill Burns said: “Thankfully, no one was injured from this reckless act, however the car sustained significant damage.
“We are appealing to anyone with any information regarding this incident or who may have possibly witnessed anything suspicious around this time, to please contact police.
“In addition, anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage is asked to come forward.”
