Appeal following serious crash on A82 between Inverness and Drumnadrochit
Road Policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on the A82 near the Loch Ness Clansman Hotel between Inverness and Drumnadrochit.
The incident happened around midday on Thursday, 3 October, and involved two pedestrians, a white Audi A3, and a blue Dacia Duster.
Emergency services attended and one of the pedestrians, a 37-year-old man was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness for treatment where medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
The other pedestrian, a 61-year-old man, and the 67-year-old male driver and 66-year-old female passenger of the Dacia, were also taken to hospital for assessment.
The road was closed to allow for investigations to be carried out and re-opened around 4.50pm.
Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “Our enquiries are ongoing, and I am appealing for anyone who has any information to contact us.
“I would particularly appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who witnessed the crash or who has dash cam footage which may assist to get in touch.”
