Appeal following serious assault at Dunure Road in Ayr

Detectives in Ayr are appealing for information after a 17-year-old male was seriously assaulted.

The incident happened around 12.50am on Saturday, 12 October 2024 in Dunure Road.

The male was taken to Ayr Hospital for treatment.

Detective Constable McCrindle said: “This assault has left the victim with serious injuries.

“We’re asking for anyone who witnessed the assault or has any information as to who is responsible to please come forward.”
