Appeal following an assault in Springfield Road, Glasgow

Officers are appealing for information following an assault in the Parkhead area of Glasgow on Saturday, 12 October, 2024.

The incident happened around 8.20pm on Springfield Road near Tollcross Road. A 32-year old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Officers are keen to speak to two men in the area at the time. One was wearing a navy jacket with the hood up and both spoke with foreign accents.

Constable Ross Gallacher said: “Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing for any members of the public with information to come forward.

“We are particularly keen to hear from anyone in the area with private CCTV or dash-cam footage who may have captured something of significance that could help with our investigation.”
