Man arrested and charged with drugs offences in Aberdeen

A 28-year-old man has been arrested and charged following a drugs recovery in Aberdeen.

Around 8.15am on Friday, 15 November, 2024 officers acting on intelligence stopped and searched a man at a car park in Shiprow. Crack cocaine with an estimated street value in excess of £19,000 was recovered.

A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal. He is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Monday, 18 November, 2024.

Detective Constable Blair Ramage of CID Proactive said: “We remain committed to taking drugs off the streets of Aberdeen.

“Information from the public is crucial to our work and we ask anyone with knowledge about drugs activity in their area to contact Police Scotland on 101. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
