Drugs with an estimated value of £125,400 seized near Moffat
Officers have seized drugs worth an estimated street value of £125,400 near Moffat.
Around 11.45am on Thursday, 21 November, 2024, officers stopped a Fiat Ducato car transporter, which was carrying a Ford Focus, on the M74 northbound carriageway near to Middlegill.
Following a search of both vehicles, herbal cannabis, estimated to be worth around £125,400, was found.
A 47-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the recovery.
He is due to appear at Dumfries Sheriff Court on Friday, 22 November, 2024.
A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal.
