Appeal following serious crash on Cumberland Street in Glasgow
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on Cumberland Street in Glasgow.
The incident happened around 2.30pm on Saturday, 9 November, near the junction with the A730 Caledonia Road and involved a blue mobility scooter and a white Renault Trafic van.
Emergency services attended and the rider of the mobility scooter, a 65-year-old woman, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No one else was injured.
The road was closed and re-opened around 6.30pm.
Sergeant Adnan Alam said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we are appealing with anyone who saw what happened to come forward.
“In addition, if anyone who was in the area at the time and has dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation then please get in touch.”
