Appeal after 56-year-old man assaulted and robbed in Port Glasgow
Detectives are appealing for information after a 56-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in Port Glasgow on Saturday, 23 November, 2024.
Around 4.35pm, officers were called to Montgomerie Street where the man reported he had been assaulted around 2pm and robbed of his wallet and jewellery.
He was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital and released after treatment.
The two suspects are described as white, aged between 20-30 years and of slim build. One was wearing grey clothing and the other was wearing black clothing.
Detective Constable Agnieszka Telford said: “Our investigation is continuing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding this incident and trace the two men responsible.
“If you were in the Montgomerie Street area on Saturday afternoon and witnessed anything suspicious or relevant to this enquiry, please contact us.
