Alan Robertson sentenced to 17 years in prison for the murder of Allan Doris

A man has been sentenced for the murder of Allan Doris in Kennishead, Glasgow in 2023.

Alan Robertson, 33, was sentenced to 17 years in prison at the High Court in Glasgow today, Wednesday, 13 November, 2024.

Allan, 43, was found with serious injuries following a disturbance at a flat in Kennishead Avenue, Glasgow, around 10.20pm on Monday, 13 February 2023.

He died a short time later at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Darren Munogee, Senior Investigating Officer, said:

“Our thoughts remain with Allan’s family and friends at this difficult time. I hope this sentence brings some comfort to them as they try to move forward with their lives.

“Robertson will now face the consequences of his despicable actions.

“We are committed to bringing perpetrators to justice and we will continue to work closely with our partners to do so.”
