Woman sentenced following drug recovery in Perth

A 43-year-old woman has been sentenced following a proactive drugs operation in Perth that saw Class A drugs recovered from a property.

A quantity of cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of £3,000 and a £30,000 was seized.

Laura Dobson was sent to prison for 27 months when she appeared at Perth Sheriff Court on Wednesday, 15 May, 2024.

Detective Sergeant Mark Wilson said: “Drugs cause misery in our communities and officers will do all they can to bring those responsible for the supply of illegal substances to justice.
