Theft of campervan from the Loch Lomond area
Detectives at Clydebank are appealing for information after a theft of a campervan after keys were stolen in the Loch Lomond area on Friday, 10 May, 2024.
Between 2.50pm and 4.45pm, a locker within the spa changing area at Cameron House Golf Club and spa was broken into. A watch and car keys were taken and a white Nissan Elgrand with the registration number ML54 WAY was stolen from the car park.
Enquiries are continuing into this incident and to trace the two men responsible. One had dark-coloured hair and aged in his 20’s. He was wearing a black t-shirt and trousers and carrying a large black backpack. The second suspect was aged between 30-40 years with dark-coloured closely cropped hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, red shorts and black shoes.
Detective Constable Thomas O’Donnell said: “We have been carrying out enquiries and checking CCTV footage from in and around the area to gather more information on where the van travelled after it was stolen.
“This is near a busy road and I am keen to speak to anyone who has any information that may assist our investigation. I would also urge drivers with dashcam who were in the area to check their footage in case it holds anything relevant.
