Serious road crash on the A815, Dunoon
Road Policing Officers are appealing for information after a serious road crash on the A815 in Dunoon on Saturday, 11 May, 2024.
Around 1.40pm, an 81-year-old man was driving a Morris 14 near to the entrance to Hunters Quay Holiday Village, when it appears the vehicle lost control and left the road.
Emergency services attended and he was taken by air ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow where staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
Sergeant Kenny Malaney of the Road Policing Unit said: “Enquiries into the cause of this crash are continuing and I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this crash to contact us.
“I would also ask any drivers on this road around the time who have dashcam to please check their footage and get in touch if it holds anything relevant.”
