Men charged in connection with Aberdeen car thefts
Two men have been arrested and charged in connection with the theft two Ford Fiestas from the Aberdeen area.
The cars were reported stolen from outside properties in Summerhill Crescent and Hazlehead Road on Monday, 1 April, 2024.
Both men, aged 27 and 28, were released on an undertaking to appear before Aberdeen Sheriff Court at a later date. A 29-year-old man will also be reported to the Procurator Fiscal.
Detective Constable Lewis Ingram said: “Acquisitive crime such as having your car stolen can have a significant impact on victims and we will not tolerate this type of behaviour in our communities.
