Man arrested and charged in connection with fraud in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire

An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged following reports of frauds in Glasgow, East Renfrewshire and East Dunbartonshire.

The frauds happened between April and May, 2024.

The man was due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Thursday, 9 May, 2024.

Sergeant John Robertson said: “We encourage members of the public to be mindful of activity which appears fraudulent and to report this to police.

“Officers will continue to work to bring those responsible for this kind of criminality to justice and anyone with concerns should call us on 101.”
