Cannabis worth £245,000 recovered in Hamilton
On Thursday, 30 May, 2024 officers searched two addresses in Comely Bank, Hamilton and recovered a quantity of cannabis with an estimated street value of £245,000.
Sergeant Andy Murray of Hamilton Police Station said: “Enquiries are continuing into this recovery to establish the full circumstances and trace those involved.
“We would appeal to anyone with information to contact us through 101, quoting incident number 2430 of 29 May.
“Drugs cause misery in our communities and the public has an important role to play in helping us target those involved in the cultivation, supply and sale of illegal substances.
“We encourage anyone with concerns or information about drugs in their community to contact us through 101 or alternatively contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
