Appeal following wilful fire-raising in Clydebank and Renton
Officers are appealing for information in connection with two wilful fire-raising incidents which are being treated as linked.
The first happened around 11.45pm on Saturday, 4 May, when a white Ford Transit was set on fire in Lennox Drive in Clydebank.
The second happened around 2.45am on Sunday, 5 May, at a commercial premises on Back Street in Renton.
Both fires were put out by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.
Detective Sergeant Barry Convery said: “Deliberately starting fires is extremely dangerous and it is fortunate that no one was hurt in these incidents which are being treated as linked.
“We are asking anyone with any information to come forward as soon as possible in order to assist with our ongoing enquiries.”
