Appeal following serious crash on Drumoyne Road in Glasgow
Road policing officers are appealing for information following a serious crash on Drumoyne Road in Glasgow.
The incident happened around 6.10pm on Wednesday, 1 May, and involved a cyclist and a black Ford Fiesta near the junction with Arngask Road.
Emergency services attended and the cyclist, a 47-year-old man, was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.
The Fiesta did not stop and was traced nearby in Kennedar Drive.
The occupants, a 21-year-old man and a 19-year-old man were also traced. The 21-year-old, the driver, was arrested and enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.
Sergeant Jack Swindells said: “We believe there were a number of people around at the time of the crash and we are asking anyone in the area at the time who can assist with our crash investigation to get in touch.
“We are also asking people to check their private CCTV and dash-cam footage and contact us if they have anything that could help with our enquiries.”
