Appeal following serious crash in East Kilbride
Road Policing officers in Lanarkshire are appealing for information following a crash involving a car and a motorbike in East Kilbride.
The incident took place on the A726 Strathaven Road, around 8.20pm on Thursday, 9 May, 2024. It involved a black Hyundai Kona and a black BMW motorbike.
The male driver of the motorbike was conveyed to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries. The driver and passenger of the car were taken to University Hospital Wishaw for assessment.
Sergeant John Houston, from the Motherwell Road Policing unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who was in the area and either witnessed the crash or has any potential dashcam footage from around the time, to please come forward.
“If you believe you can assist our enquiries, please call police on 101, quoting incident 3669 of 9 May, 2024.”
