Appeal after man assaulted in Main Street area of Irvine
Police in Ayrshire are appealing for information following the assault of a man in Irvine.
The incident took place in the Main Street area near Bank Street around 7pm on Wednesday, 15 May, 2024.
A 43-year-old man was treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service at the Scene.
Detective Constable Ross Keenan of Saltcoats CID said: “Extensive enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV that could assist our investigation to contact officers.”
