Two people arrested and drugs recovered in Bishopton
Drugs worth £65,000 have been seized following an operation in Bishopton.
Officers searched the property and a vehicle during the evening of Thursday, 21 March.
Quantities of heroin, cocaine and cannabis were recovered, along with a six-figure sum of cash and a firearm.
A 57-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman were arrested and charged in connection with the recovery. They are both due to appear at Paisley Sheriff Court on Monday, 25 March, 2024.
Detective Inspector Gordon Smith said: “This seizure highlights our continuing efforts to disrupt supply routes and protect those in our communities affected by the illicit drug trade.
“The operation underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy.
