Enquiries are ongoing following a suspicious fire in Glasgow
An investigation is under way following a suspicious fire in Glasgow.
Around 1.30am on Sunday, 17 March, 2024, police received a report of a fire within a driveway in Tormusk Drive, Castlemilk. No-one was injured in the incident.
Following enquiries, officers believe the intended target was the BMW vehicle within the drive, but it was the garden gate that caught fire and brickwork to the house was also damaged.
Officers are checking for any relevant CCTV from in and around the area.
Detective Constable Declan Quinn-Thomas said: “I am appealing to local residents who may have seen or heard anything to contact us. You may have noticed something suspicious or saw someone hanging around, any small piece of information could prove vital so please do pass it on.”
