Crash involving car and pedestrian - Seafield Road, Aberdeen
Police are appealing for information following a serious crash in Aberdeen on Wednesday, 6 March 2024.
Around 7.20pm, police were called after a 68-year-old male pedestrian was seriously injured when he was struck by a Volkswagen Golf car whilst crossing Seafield Road, Aberdeen. He was taken by ambulance to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where medical staff describe his condition as critical.
The occupants of the car were not injured.
The road is now open.
Constable Geoff Smart, North East Roads Policing Unit, said:
"Our enquiries into the cause of the crash are continuing.
"Officers are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident and have not yet spoken to police to get in touch. Seafield Road is a main thoroughfare and there would have been a number of people in the area at the time."
