Serious organised criminal jailed for eight years in Aberdeen
A 35-year-old man has been jailed for his part in serious and organised crime and drug supply.
Aaron Bradford was sentenced to eight years at the High Court in Aberdeen today.
Bradford was arrested in December 2020 as part of Operation Venetic - a Europewide operation to identify and dismantle organised crime groups utilising encrypted devices.
Detective Inspector Julia Ogilvie from Dundee's Organised Crime Unit, said: “There is no doubt the excellent working partnership between law enforcement agencies is paying dividends. We will continue to carry out systematic, targeted operations which lead to arrests and cause significant disruption to the criminal fraternity. This sentencing underlines our commitment to the Serious Organised Crime Taskforce and the country’s Serious Organised Crime Strategy. We remain committed to our fight against those involved in serious and organised crime to ensure our communities are safe.”
