Appeal for information following housebreakings in Bonhill and Dumbarton
Detectives are appealing for information following housebreakings in Bonhill and Dumbarton on the afternoon of Sunday, 17 March, 2024.
Around 1.10pm, four men forced entry to a property in Bontine Avenue, Dumbarton, and stole a number of items. They left in a blue Audi car.
A short time later, around 2.50pm, entry was forced to a property in Highdykes Hill, Bonhill. A number of items were taken and a blue Audi car was seen in the area.
Detective Constable Marty Davies from Clydebank CID said: “Enquiries are at a very early stage to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident and we are appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“In particular we would urge anyone in the area with private CCTV or dash-cams to please check their footage in case they have captured anything which could be of significance, such as a vehicle driving off at speed.
