Appeal for information after housebreaking in Moodiesburn
Detectives in Coatbridge are appealing for information following a theft by housebreaking in Moodiesburn.
Around 7.15pm on Friday, 22 March, 2024, a property in the Cambourne Road area was broken into. A number of items were stolen including two metal safes.
Enquiries have established there are three suspects, all described as wearing black tracksuits, hooded tops with their faces covered and wearing gloves.
Detective Constable David Forde, of Coatbridge CID, said: “This break-in occurred while the family were out and it has caused them considerable alarm and upset.
"It's vital we trace the people responsible, and I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious or may have information that could assist with our enquiries to please get in touch.
“In addition, anyone with private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could help with our investigation is also asked to contact us.”
