Appeal following serious road crash on the B966 between Kinross and Kelty
Road policing officers are appealing following a serious crash on the B966 between Kinross and Kelty.
The incident happened around 8.20pm on Wednesday, 6 March, at the junction with the B9097 at Gairney Bridge and involved a grey Audi A6 and a blue Yamaha YZF R125.
Emergency services attended and the motorcyclist, a 19-year-old man, was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries.
The two occupants of the Audi were not injured.
The road was closed for crash investigation work and re-opened around 4am on Thursday, 7 March.
Sergeant Steve Livesey said: “Our enquiries to establish the full circumstances are ongoing and anyone with information, including dash-cam footage, that could assist with our enquiries are asked to get in touch.”
