Appeal following Dumfries housebreaking
Officers are appealing for information following a break-in and theft in Dumfries.
The incident happened around 6.55pm on Saturday, 16 March, 2024 at a property on Birchwood Way, Dumfries.
Entry was gained to the premises and jewellery worth a four-figure sum was taken.
Detective Sergeant Paul Steele of Dumfries CID said: “Our enquiries into this incident are ongoing, and I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and noticed anything suspicious, including a black coloured vehicle near to the property, to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam footage that might assist with our enquiries."
