Appeal following break-in to property in Oban
Officers are appealing for information following a housebreaking at a premises on Nant Drive in Oban.
Between Thursday, 7 March, 2024 and the early hours of Friday, 8 March, a window was forced open and entry gained to the property.
A quanity of jewellery which included watches, gold rings and diamond rings of significant sentimental value were stolen. The estimated value of the items stolen was in the region of £16,000.
Enquiries so far have found that two men were seen looking into windows in the area around 9.30pm. They were dressed all in dark clothing, around 6ft tall and had hoods up.
Detective Constable Paul Macmillan said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we continue to appeal to anyone who saw anything suspicious, or has private CCTV or dash cam footage covering the area, to please get in touch as you may have vital information that could help with our investigation.”
