Appeal after car set on fire in Dumbarton
Officers are appealing for information after a car was deliberately set on fire in Dumbarton.
The incident was reported shortly after 4.25am on Thursday, 28 March at Overburn Crescent.
The car, which was parked on the street, was extinguished by the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and no one was injured.
The fire is being treated as wilful and enquiries are ongoing.
Detective Constable Gordon Hanley said: “We would urge anyone with information or who saw any suspicious activity in the area early this morning to get in touch.
“We would also be keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or private CCTV footage from the area.
“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0349 of 28 March, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
