Man named following road crash in Lenziemill Road, Cumbernauld
A 28-year-old man has died in hospital following a road crash in Cumbernauld on Thursday, 30 May, 2024.
Around 6.50pm, officers were called to a report of a collision involving a Kawasaki motorcycle and a Hyundai Tucson car on the B8039, near to Lenziemill Road.
The motorcyclist was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow where he died on Sunday, 2 June, 2024.
He can be named as Andrew Tham from Cumbernauld.
Sergeant Gemma Blackadder from the Road Policing Unit at Motherwell said: “Our thoughts are very much with Andrew’s family and friends at what is a very difficult time for them.
