Officers have arrested a man following inquiries into attempted thefts in Dumbarton and Alexandria
Around 8.50am on Saturday, 15 June, 2024 we were called to a report of an attempted theft at a premises in Lomond Drive, Dumbarton.
Officers attended and a 24-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Around 9.10am same day, we were called to another report of an attempted theft within a premises on Argyll Road, Alexandria. Officers attended and a 57-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 33-year-old man was later arrested and charged in connection with both incidents and is due to appear at Dumbarton Sheriff Court on Monday, 17 June, 2024.
