Lewis Forbes sentenced to 10 years for sexual and violent offences
A 34-year-old man has been jailed for sexual and violent offences, including rape and assault to injury in the Inverness and Ross-Shire areas.
Lewis Forbes was sentenced on Tuesday, 4 June, 2024 at the High Court in Edinburgh to 10 years in prison.
He was previously found guilty of a number of offences committed against two women between mid to late 2020 and June 2022.
Detective Constable Laura Murray from the Public Protection Unit at Inverness said: “Forbes’ sickening actions had a profound effect on his victims. I hope that his sentencing goes some way to acknowledge this and brings them some comfort as they move forward in their lives.
